The Waterloo Black Hawks have arrived safely back in Moscow and are now awaiting a Tuesday flight which will bring the team back to Chicago via Zurich.
The food during the trip has been consistently good, although the variety has been somewhat limited. With eight games in a twelve day span, there has been a lot of pasta.
So after arriving in our Moscow hotel and learning there was a McDonald’s just a little more than a block away, the team took a field trip, and it should have been a record day for that location. Big Macs and double cheeseburgers were leaving the counter on trays stacked two high. No one came back hungry.
