Hawks Teach Hawks

By Tim Harwood

A day before setting off for Russia and the 2012 Junior Club World Cup, Waterloo Black Hawks players took time between practice sessions to learn about their trip.

(Jake Horton and Pijus Rulevicius talk about the Hawks' opponents)

Over burritos at Young Arena, small groups of Hawks told the rest of the team about different topics they had been assigned to research.  They looked up details about the host city, Omsk, the opposing teams they will face during the tournament, European hockey leagues, and more.

The beginning of the journey is just less than 24 hours away.  The learning experience which comes with playing on the other side of the world has already begun.
(Alec McCrea, Vinnie Hinostroza, and Justin Kloos get the details)
